A' Playground Design Awards 2026 celebrates innovative play spaces and equipment that promote safety, creativity, inclusion and active outdoor experiences.

The first phase provides a complimentary preliminary evaluation for playground, play structure and public park design projects, Playground Equipment Designers, Play Structure Engineers, Public Park Planners, Landscape Architects, Outdoor Fitness Equipment Manufacturers, Playground Safety Inspectors, Child Development Specialists, Recreational Facility Designers, Urban Planners, Community Development Agencies, Playground Equipment Brands, Playground Installation Companies, Leisure and Recreation Consultants, Outdoor Space Design Professionals, Public Space Artists, Playground Innovation, Consultancy, Research and Development Companies can register at A' Design Awards to submit a work for the Playground Awards, and get a preliminary score for their entries. Projects that pass the preliminaries can proceed with nomination, however it shall be noted in advance that there is a nominal fee for nominating entries for Playground Awards consideration.

The A' Playground Equipment, Play Structures and Public Park Design Awards recognize excellence in the design of playgrounds, play structures and recreational public spaces. The competition celebrates innovative approaches to child-centered design, safety, accessibility, inclusivity, physical activity and imaginative play. From climbing structures and slides to complete public playgrounds and park environments, the awards highlight projects that create engaging outdoor experiences while responding to children's developmental needs and the social character of public spaces.

Playground Awards Timeline & Eligibility
Deadline for entries to A' Playground Equipment, Play Structures and Public Park Design Awards is on September 30, 2026. Results of the A' Playground Equipment, Play Structures and Public Park Design Awards will be announced on May 1, 2027. Professional-edition laureates of the A' Playground Equipment, Play Structures and Public Park Design Awards will be granted the highly coveted A' Design Prize which contains a series of PR, marketing and publicity tools to celebrate the status of winning the Playground Awards.
